Im a sculptor, making my first custom BJD.
I've made original peices out of super sculpey, with silicone molds and going to do a hollow cast of plastic.
Sand/then paint and string.

I wanna trade books lists and ideas with a dollmaker.
Any on here?

Tanning Dollfie

No one's posted in a bit so I felt bad and figured I would.

In the market for a Tanning Lishie. I like Light skinned Cocoro but she's not what i'm looking for feature wise.

Looking all around for a Tanning Lishie that I can get some makeup done too. I found some amazing ones but can't find any for sale. Guess no one's willing to part with such a pretty girl.

Custom Skin Paint Jobs

I'm pretty new to the world of Dollfie, But I WANT one.
I know that if I save up I can get one that I would like. Volks are of course the first ones I fell in love with. Kun in particular.
But then I found Soul Kid doll and Sweeny and most of all Vivian have become my favorites.

So here is my question. I want to plan to buy a dollfie down the line. Either buying it all in one or buying it peice by peice until I get what I want. But my main problem is like so many dollfie owners might feel, I want to dress up my Dollfie as many of my original characters. Basicially I want my dollfie to look as much like me as possible.
The problem is...I'm dark skinned. All the dollfies are asian or caucasian complexions.

Does anyone do full body paint jobs that could match my complexion. I know it would prolly cost an arm and a Leg but if I could find someone who could do it I might consider buying a dollfie for myself as a birthday present and have her custom painted.

I know some do cusom makeup and even tat's. But Ive never seen this done...

does anyone own any dolls made by companies besides volks?
I'm looking to save up to buy a boyfriend for nono soon......
I really like volk's kohya, but he's $1000....
but i saw this pretty boy and was wondering how this brand, dolkot, ( and others) compare in quality...

I'm saving up to buy a dollfie of my very own. I'm pretty surev I want a Nono head, and SD13 body with either the regular or slim limbs, and I want the regular breasts not the new "L" breasts. i'd like the paler white skin as well. A similar one was on ebay, but she had the "L" breast and new skin, and i stupidly let her get away for the great price of $600. So, what I'm asking is, outside of hunting on ebay, does anyone know of a place I could just order one either exactly how I want it or at least close to how i want it, and pay close to retail?

Hello. I'm new and I'd like to share my doll fever. I've just found out about these beautiful creations so I don't know a whole lot, but they blew me away. Here's a link for a bunch of (mostly Japanese or Korean) artisan's sites that specialize in 'doll art' that I stumbled across. I fell in love with Hizuki, Atobe Sizuku, Satou Miho... there's so many others.

Haves/ Wants

I jumped into SuperDollfie several years ago when they first came out in Japan, and then took the last couple off due to frustration with the group situation. Now I'm trying to ease myself back in.
I currently own (all personally customized, some of whom share bodies): a nono, megu, Lukas, f7, f5, f8, 2 unoa and customhouse Sia. This was before the time of newskin, white & tan skin and optional torsos!
What have you got, or what do you want?
I'm still dreaming of the FCS system. :}
